Businessman shot dead in Sapugaskanda

A man has been shot dead at the Galwala Junction in Sapugaskanda at around 8 pm today (12), stated the Police Media Spokesperson.

Two unknown gunmen who had arrived on a motorcycle had opened fire on the victim, according to the police.

The victim critically injured in the shooting had succumbed to his injuries upon admittance to the Kiribathgoda Hospital.

 The deceased has been identified to be a 35 year old businessman named H. A. Danushka Sanjeewa from Makola North.

Sapugaskanda Police is conducting further investigations on the matter.
