Public help sought to apprehend suspect with links to Kingsbury bomber

It was recently discovered that the suicide bomber who attacked the St. Anthony’s Church in Kochchikade had arrived at the location in a white-coloured van registered under the name of the suicide bomber at the Kingsbury Hotel, Mohamed Assam Mohamed Mubarak.

The suicide bomber at Kochchikade church was identified as Alaudeen Ahmed Muwath.

The vehicle in question bearing the number plate WP-PJ-4080 was set up with explosives for another blast and was parked near the church intentionally.

However, on April 22nd, the Police Special Task Force safely diffused the explosives found inside the van.

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) had carried out extensive investigations regarding this vehicle in question and accordingly, managed to find out links between the suicide bomber at the Kingsbury Hotel and another person who had aided him to purchase the vehicle and to renew its passenger seats.

As the investigations into this second suspect are ongoing, the police have prepared four sketches on the visage of the suspect, based on the information gathered from four witnesses, whom the witness had previously met up with.

All four witnesses have agreed that the suspect is a tanned-skinned bearded person who is of 35-40 years of age and approximately 5’6” in height.

The police seek the assistance of the public for apprehension if this suspect.
