New spokesman for Sri Lanka Army

Brigadier Chandana Wickremesinghe has been appointed as the new Spokesperson for the Sri Lanka Army.
The new Spokesman Wickremesinghe is reported to assume duties from the 17th of December.
Accordingly, incumbent Army Spokesperson Major General Sumith Atapattu is due to be assigned to the Army Headquarters.
