Coronavirus patients in Sri Lanka rise to 28

A total number of 28 patients have tested positive for Covid-19 in Sri Lanka as of now, says the Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe.

He said that six more confirmed cases of Coronavirus have been identified.

The Director General said that all six new patients are males and that one of them is being treated at the Polonnaruwa Hospital. 

Four of them are from quarantine facilities in the country while the other is a Sri Lankan who had arrived from Kerala.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus patients to 28.

A total of 10 patients had been identified within today (16) alone.
