IDH transfers another COVID-19 patient to ICU

Another patient who had been receiving treatment at the Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH) for the coronavirus infection has been transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital, a spokesman of IDH said.

Accordingly, there are three COVID-19 patients currently receiving treatment at the ICU of IDH in Angoda.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka has not reported any positive COVID-19 cases during the course of the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health.

A total of 102 coronavirus-infected persons has been diagnosed in Sri Lanka so far, out of which three recovered.

The 99 positive cases are being treated at Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH), Base Hospital in Mulleriyawa and Base Hospital in Welikanda.

In the meantime, 255 suspected coronavirus patients are under observation at selected hospitals.
