Four more coronavirus patients recover completely

Another four patients who had tested as positive for COVID-19 in Sri Lanka have recovered completely, says the Ministry of Health.

They were reportedly discharged from the hospital today following their recovery.

As per the situation report issued by the Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry earlier today (26), the last confirmed patient was identified on Tuesday.

Accordingly, a total of 102 coronavirus-infected persons was been diagnosed in Sri Lanka so far. Three of them including the 47-year old Chinese woman had recovered completely on previous occasions.

With the recovery of these four COVID-19 patients, Sri Lanka’s tally of positive cases now stands at 95.

They are being treated at Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH), Base Hospital in Mulleriyawa and Base Hospital in Welikanda.

In the meantime, three patients who are being treated at the IDH have been transferred to the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
