Judicial services to resume from Monday under several stages

Courtroom proceedings will resume from Monday (11) under several phases, the Judicial Service Commission said today.

One of its senior spokespersonS stated that functions will recommence in compliance with the special Circular prepared by the Judicial Service Commission and the health regulations introduced by the government.

Accordingly, High Courts, District Courts and Magistrates’ Courts under the purview of the Judicial Service Commission will resume functions on May 11.

The Commission noted that all court premises have been decontaminated and all necessary arrangements have been made to reopen them.

A set of guidelines that should be followed by judges, magistrates, attorneys-at-law and all other officials related to the judicial service has already been prepared, the Commission said further.
