Nine coronavirus cases confirmed today are from Navy – Health Ministry

The 9 cases of COVID-19 that were confirmed today (09) have been identified from Sri Lanka Navy, says the Ministry of Health.

In addition, the 11 positive cases reported on Friday (08), too, were detected from the Navy.

The total number of COVID-19 cases reported in Sri Lanka to date stands at 844.

According to the Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, 413 out of this total count are naval personnel.

Twenty-one naval personnel have made complete recoveries from the disease so far.
