Coronavirus recoveries from Navy increase to 62

Ten more naval personnel who were confirmed to have contracted the COVID-19 virus have made complete recoveries, Sri Lanka Navy said in a statement.

They had been undergoing treatment at the Homagama Hospital (07), Mulleriyawa Hospital (02) and at the Infectious Disease Hospital (01).

These discharged navy men will be kept under quarantine for another 14 days in compliance with the healthcare instructions.

Accordingly, a total of 62 naval personnel has recovered from the disease so far.

Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry says that out of the 889 positive cases of coronavirus confirmed in Sri Lanka to date, 454 were detected from the Navy.
