Group of Sri Lankans to be repatriated from Germany today

A group of Sri Lankans in Germany are to be repatriated today, says the Military Spokesperson Brigadier Chandana Wickremasinghe.

A SriLankan Airlines flight (UL 1206), returning from Hamburg in Germany, is scheduled to land at Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport within the day.

These expatriates consist of 236 civil ship crew stranded at foreign ports, Brigadier Wickremasinghe said further.
