Cops who dispersed FSP protestors to undergo quarantine

Police personnel who had been involved in dispersing the protest by the Frontline Socialist Party (FSP) have been directed for quarantine, stated the Police Media Division.

On June 06, the Frontline Socialist Party launched a protest before the US Embassy in Colombo and police personnel were deployed to disperse the crowd.

Accordingly, 30 officers including the Officer-in-Charge of the Kollupitiya Police Station will undergo quarantine in this manner.

They will be sent to the quarantine center in Aththidiya to complete their quarantine process.
