Buddhika assigned a new post in Samagi Jana Balawegaya

Former United National Party (UNP) MP Buddhika Pathirana has been appointed to a new post in the Samagi Jana Balawegaya led by Sajith Premadasa.

He was appointed as the new Matara District Team Leader of the alliance by former Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa in an event held today (11).

The relevant position was left vacant as the former Minister Mangala Samaraweera who held the post stepped down from the politics of being a member of parliament on June 09.

Following being assigned to the new position, Pathirana told media that he is prepared to provide leadership to the Matara District.
