Another group of Sri Lankans in Australia has been brought back to the island early this morning (19).

A special flight belonging to the national carrier, SriLankan Airlines, landed at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) with 98 Sri Lankans aboard.

Ada Derana correspondent said most of these returnees are students pursuing higher education in Australia.

In the meantime, 58 Indian navy men, who arrived in Sri Lanka last night (18) to work in a ship anchored at Galle Port, have been subjected to PCR testing upon arrival.

They have been temporarily moved to tourist hotels near the airport until the PCR test results are received.
