254 Sri Lankans repatriated from Seychelles

A special flight carrying 254 Sri Lankan nationals who were stranded in Seychelles arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake this afternoon.

The passengers had arrived onboard SriLankan Airlines flight UL-708 from Seychelles International Airport in Victoria, the capital city of Seychelles.

The majority of the passengers are Sri Lankan nationals employed in Seychelles.

They have been subjected to PCR tests at the BIA premises, Ada Derana reporter said.
