Ten more recover from Navy’s COVID-19 cluster

Sri Lanka Navy has confirmed that 10 more navy men who had previously contracted the COVID-19 recovered from the disease.

As these sailors were found negative to the virus on the reports of random PCR tests carried out under treatment, they have been discharged from the hospital on Monday (29).

These recoveries have increased the total number of recoveries from the Navy’s COVID-19 cluster to 836.

These discharged navy men will undergo a 14-day quarantine procedure in compliance with the healthcare regulations.

The number of coronavirus cases reported in Sri Lanka so far currently sits at 2,042. Out of this total 1,678 patients have made complete recoveries.
