Minuwangoda Covid-19 cluster registers 73 more fresh cases

The Minuwangoda Covid-19 cluster has confirmed 73 more positive cases this evening (17), says the Commander of Sri Lanka Army, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva. 

Two of them have been identified as apparel factory workers and contacts who are in quarantine centers.

The remaining 71 are reportedly the contacts of Covid-19 positive patients from the cluster.

Thereby, the total number of Covid-19 cases reported from the Minuwangoda cluster has soared to 1,972.
