Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana says that vehicles will be allowed to pass through Gampaha District during the quarantine curfew, however vehicles are not allowed to stop.

Quarantine curfew will be imposed within the Gampaha District from 10.00 p.m. today to 5.00 a.m. on Monday (26), the government announced.

The decision has been taken due to a surge in the number of coronavirus cases reported within the district.

Currently quarantine curfew has been imposed in 24 police areas across the country.
