Several trains cancelled until further notice

Sri Lanka Railways has decided to cancel several trains operating on the Puttalam, Coastal and Kelani Valley lines until further notice.

The decision was taken in the light of low numbers of passengers commuting in trains as quarantine curfew was imposed in certain areas due to the prevailing Covid-19 situation.

Deputy General Manager of Railways (Transportation) communicated the announcement in a notice issued today.
