Popular singer Paul Fernando passes away

Popular singer Paul Fernando has passed away at the age of 68.

He had reportedly passed away this evening at the Kalubowila Hospital after undergoing treatment for an illness for a long period.

Details of the funeral are to be announced later. 

President of Sri Lankan Singers Association, Mr Keerthi Pasquel stated that due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation in the country a decision on the final rites of the veteran singer is expected to be taken later following the completion of relevant tests.
