Most Ven. Napane Pemasiri Thera passes away, aged 98

Most Venerable Napane Pemasiri Thera, the Mahanayake of the Sri Lanka Ramanna Maha Nikaya, has passed away at the age of 98.
According to reports, Napane Pemasiri Thera had been receiving treatment at the Peradeniya Hospital at the time of his passing.
He was appointed the Mahanayke of the Ramanna Maha Nikaya on the 03rd of September in 2012.
Prior to the appointment, Napane Pemasiri Thera had served as the Chief Incumbent of Menikhinna Hurikaduwa Vidyasagara Pirivena and the Adhikarana Sanghanayaka of Ramanna Maha Nikaya.
