Trading at Manning Market, 4th and 5th Cross Streets not allowed

Trading activities at several areas in Pettah will not be allowed despite the lift of isolation orders tomorrow (November 29), stated the Police Media Spokesperson.

The curfew on Pettah, Foreshore, and Mattakkuliya police areas in the Colombo District will be lifted at 5.00 am tomorrow.

However, trading activities at the Manning Market, 4th Cross Street, and the 5th Cross Street will be prohibited until further notice.

Wholesale or other trading activities will not be allowed in the aforementioned areas, Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said joining a press conference.

However, operations at the private bus stand and other activities in Pettah will continue as usual from tomorrow, he added.
