Schools closed in Jaffna and Kilinochchi districts tomorrow

The Secretary to the Northern Province Governor says that all schools in the Jaffna and Kilinochchi districts will be closed tomorrow (07) due to inclement weather conditions. 

The Department of meteorology has issued a weather advisory stating that the prevailing showery condition is expected to continue further particularly in the “high risk” areas of Jaffna and Kilinochchi districts.

Heavy rainfalls above 100 mm are likely at some places, it warned.
