New appointments to UNP’s top posts

The Working Committee of the United National Party (UNP) has made new appointments to three of the top posts in the party.
Thereby, Vajira Abeywardena has been appointed as the Chairman of UNP while Palitha Range Bandara was made the party’s General-Secretary.
In the meantime, Akila Viraj Kariyawasam was appointed as the Assistant Leader.
