Power failure at Ambatale plant interrupts water supply for several areas

Water supply for several suburban areas of Colombo District has been interrupted due to a power failure at the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant.

Accordingly, Kolonnawa Urban Council area, Moragasmulla, Rajagiriya, main road & all byroads from Rajagiriya to Nawala junction have been affected by the said water cut.

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said the power restoration work in progress.
