Maldives President arrives in Sri Lanka for private visit

The President of the Maldives, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has arrived in Sri Lanka for a private visit.

According to the Maldives President’s Office, Mr. Solih had departed Malé along with First Lady Fazna Ahmed.

Reportedly, they reached the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) earlier today in a SriLankan Airlines flight.

The President and First Lady are expected to return to the Maldives on Friday (July 23).
