Acclaimed actor Sarath Chandrasiri has passed away while receiving treatment at the General Hospital in Colombo.
For the past few weeks, he had been under medical care at the intensive care unit due to a brain haemorrhage.
Chandrasiri was aged 57 at the time of his demise.
