Treasury releases funds to import essential medicines

The Treasury has taken steps to release USD 16 million to import essential medicinal drugs and raw materials for medicines, says the State Minister of Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals.
Prof. Channa Jayasumana assured that there would be no shortage of medicines in the country.
