Coronavirus: Five more victims, 236 new infections reported today

Another 236 people have tested positive for Covid-19 today, the Ministry of Health confirmed. This brings the tally of Covid-19 cases registered in the country thus far to 658,197.

According to official figures, 624,676 positive cases have recovered, while 17,090 are still under medical care.

Meanwhile, the Director-General of Health Services confirmed 05 new coronavirus-related deaths for March 19, pushing the country’s death toll from the pandemic to 16,431.

According to the figures released by the Department of Govt. Information, the victims include 03 males and 02 females who are in the age group of 60 years and above.
