Several activists accused of forcibly entering President’s House granted bail

Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court today (Aug 24) granted bail to four leading activists of ‘Aragalaya’ movement, who were accused of forcibly entering the President’s House in Colombo.
Accordingly, Propaganda Secretary of Frontline Socialist Party (FSP) Duminda Nagamuwa, Rev. Fr. Jeewantha Peiris, General Secretary of Ceylon Teachers’ Union (CTU) Joseph Stalin and Nalin Gunawardena were released on surety bails of Rs. 500,000 each.
