Couple at textile shop attacked with sharp weapons; husband dies

One person is reported dead and another has been injured after two individuals arriving in a car had attacked them with sharp weapons in a textile shop at Wewala Junction of Hikkaduwa today (Nov.30), the police said.
The deceased individual has been identified to be aged 29, and his wife (29), who was injured in the attack, has been admitted to Karapitiya Teaching Hospital, according to police.
