Fire reported within Seethawaka industrial zone

A fire has been reported within the Seethawaka Export Processing Zone in Awissawella, according to the police.

Accordingly, a fire reportedly broke out at a factory inside the industrial zone, police said, adding that the cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

Efforts to douse the fire are currently underway by both the police and Fire Service Department.
