Road from Kokmaduwa Interchange to Kananke inundated

The road section from Kokmaduwa Interchange on Southern Expressway to Kananke has been inundated, according to the Road Development Authority (RDA).

However, motorists can proceed to Weligama, the RDA said.  

Accordingly, vehicles arriving in the direction from Colombo are advised to exit from Palatuwa interchange while those arriving from Mattala are advised to exit from Godagama interchange and proceed to Kananke.
