Two including teen arrested for aiding and abetting attempted murder

The police have arrested two suspects in connection with the attempted murder of a man in Lellama area of Modara.
On February 16, two unidentified assailants who had arrived on a motorcycle had opened fire at a man.
Accordingly, two suspects, aged 16 and 21, have been arrested for aiding and abetting the crime.
The arrests were made by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) officers in Sedawatta area and Ferguson’s Road in Colombo 15.
As per reports, the duo was identified as residents of Colombo 15.
Modara Police and the CCD are conducting further investigations into this attempted murder.
