Fire breaks out at tyre shop in Grandpass

A fire has reportedly broken out at a tyre shop located near Armour Street in Grandpass, Colombo.
The Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) fire brigade had dispatched 05 fire engines to help douse the flames.
Ada Derana reporter said traffic along Armour Street has been restricted to one lane towards Negombo.
Meanwhile, severe traffic congestion has been reported in the area owing to this.
UPDATE: Traffic movement along both directions on Sirimavo Bandaranaike Mawatha in Colombo from Armour Street has been blocked due to the fire.
