Afghan Finance Minister calls on President

Afghan Minister of Finance Mohammed Humayon Qayoumi called on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today (February 09).

The Finance Minister met with President Rajapaksa at the President’s residence, stated President’s Media Division.

Minister Qayoumi also serves as a Special Advisor to the President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani.

The visiting Minister discussed bilateral relations and regional issues with President Rajapaksa.

Afghan Ambassador to Sri Lanka, M. Ashraf Haidari was also present on this occasion.
