Kamindu Mendis hits second Test ton as Sri Lanka build on lead

The young Sri Lankan all-rounder Kamindu Mendis notched another century in day three of the ongoing Sylhet Test against Bangladesh propelling Sri Lanka to a lead closing 430 runs in the second innings.

The 25-year-old, who is standing in just his second Test and the first one in nearly 20 months also smashed the maiden test century of his career on Friday (22), during the first innings of the first Test against the hosting Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, Dhananjaya de Silva brought up his 12th career Test century and the second hundred in the first Test against Bangladesh this afternoon.

Sri Lanka currently lead the hosts by 430 runs, having scored 338 runs for the loss of 07 wickets in the second innings, a short while ago.
