Kael Liyanage wins Sri Lanka’s first-ever medal at World Practical Shooting Championship

Sri Lanka’s Kael Liyanage has claimed the country’s first-ever Bronze Medal at the World Practical Shooting Championship Games.

The 2025 World Practical Shooting Championship was worked off from 9 to 25 May, in the Czech Republic.

Liyanage secured the bronze medal in the Practical Shooting Optics super junior category.

The gold and silver medals in the event were secured by the United States and the Czech Republic respectively.
