Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to field first against Sri Lanka in the first ODI played in Harare Sports Club today (29).
Sri Lanka head to the ODI series as massive favourites but Zimbabwe at home are a team that should not be taken for granted.
The results may have not gone their way, but they have a team that can upset any team on their day.
For Sri Lanka, this is an opportunity to build a strong foundation for the ODI side for the ODI World Cup.
Many of these players are also part of the Asia Cup squad and the series will be a good chance for them to gain some decent form.
