Asia Cup: Sri Lank to field first against Hong Kong in Dubai

Sri Lanka captain Charith Asalanka won the toss and elected to field first against Hong Kong in the eighth game of the 2025 Asia Cup in Dubai.
At the toss skipper Asalanka said he prefers to chase on what he termed as a good Dubai deck.
Sri Lanka drafted Maheesh Theekshana into the side in place of Matheesha Pathirana for the Hong Kong game.
Hong Kong also made one change to their lineup from the previous encounter.
Sri Lanka won its opening game against Bangladesh by 6 wickets at the same venue.
