Danuna is in Sri Lanka – CID tells court

The CID told court today that information has been received that Rtd. Gen. Sarath Fonseka’s son-in-law Danuna Thilakarathne is still in Sri Lanka. This was revealed at a hearing when the Hicorp arms deals case was taken up at the Fort Magistrate Courts.

 

 

The CID further stated that Danuna is trying to mislead investigators by using a Roaming connection to give out the impression that he is abroad. A warrant was issued for Danuna earlier and he is still absconding.
