More trains for festive season

The Railway Department has made special arrangements for the convenience of commuters during the festive season. According to Railway Department sources, 26 special trains from Fort to Nanu Oya, Bandarawela, Rambukkana, Mahawa and Galleare being operated in addition to the normal train services from Fort and Maradana during the festive season.

 

 

The details of the special train schedule can be obtained from the Railway Stations, sources said.

 

 

Sources added that a special scheme was also implemented with the National Transport Commission and the Transport Ministry to coordinate the train and bus services for the convenience of the commuters.
