No fire, only smoke in harbour incident, say latest reports

UPDATE: Latest reports received by Adaderana confirms that there has been no fire but only smoke in the chemical container at the Colombo harbour.
The container had stocks of a crystalline chemical used for swimming pools, possibly as a disinfectant and the cargo had leaked. Due to the chemical mixing with the rain water it had resulted in a billowing smoke as a reaction, harbour authorities told Adaderana.
The smoke had been brought under control and the cargo separated from the rest. No casualties or damage have been reported due to the incident.
