Sri Lanka squad for limited overs series against India

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) today announced the 25-member squad selected by the Cricket Selection Committee to take part in the ODI and T20I series against India.

The squad was approved by the Minister of Youth and Sports Namal Rajapaksa, the statement said.

Dasun Shanaka has been handed the leadership of the side while Dhananjaya De Silva will serve as his deputy. 

India National Cricket Team is all set to take on Sri Lanka in a three-match ODI series and a three-match T20I series. 

The ODI series will commence from July 18 with all six games being played out at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

Kusal Perera has been ruled out of the entire Indian ODI series and the T20I series due to a sprain in his right shoulder. Fast bowler Binura Fernando was also ruled out of the ODI series.
