Zimbabwe have scored a massive 297 runs on the scorecard after opting to bat against Sri Lanka in the first ODI at the Pallekele Stadium. 

Sean Williams scored a brilliant century off 87 balls that comprised 9 boundaries and a couple of sixes. 

Wicket-keeper Regis Chakabva also contributed crucial 72 runs. He shared 80 runs partnership for the opening stand and added 50 runs with Williams. 

Chamika Karunaratne emerged as the best bowler for Sri Lanka with 3 wickets while Jeffrey Vandersay and Nuwan Pradeep took a pair of wickets each.
