Bruno Mars just dropped his first new single in four years and it’s about to uptown funk you up.
After revealing the artwork for his highly-anticipated new album on Thursday night, the superstar singer decided to spoil his fans by releasing the single “24K Magic” and its accompanying music video ahead of schedule.
Unsurprisingly, the song is ridiculously catchy. Mixing 90s vibes with 70s funk, Bruno has created yet another banger that will probably be stuck in your head for weeks (or months) to come. Plus, the accompanying music video is just as fun: Featuring Bruno and his buddies living it up in Las Vegas, he truly lives up to the lyric, “I’m a dangerous man with some money in my pocket.”
Of course, despite not releasing any new solo music over the past few years, Bruno has certainly still made his presence known. His 2014 track with Mark Ronson “Uptown Funk” is probably the internet’s favorite song of all time, and his performance at the Super Bowl that same year was equally epic.
Nonetheless, it’s safe to say the world is ready for his self-described “Chapter 3” and “24K Magic” already has me hooked.
