Former Chief Justice Shirani Bandaranayake arrived at the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption in Colombo today (March 18) to answer various allegations against her. A parliamentary committee ruled that Bandaranayake was guilty of possession of unexplained wealth and misuse of power and declared her unfit for office which later lead to her impeachment in January this year.
