A group of parents staged a protest in front of the Janadhipathi Balika Vidyalaya, Nawala today (March 31) over a court case filed against the principal of the school. The principal in question had reportedly told a Muslim student of the school to attend school wearing the school uniform instead of the Hijab. This had prompted the girl’s parents to file a case against the principal at the High Court. (Pic by Sanjeewa Lasantha)
