ICC World Cup Trophy arrives in Colombo...

The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 Trophy Tour’s Sri Lanka Leg commenced today (14 Sep.), and was made available for public display.

The trophy was on display at the World Trade Center, one of Sri Lanka’s key business centers in Colombo, from 09:00 a.m. – 02:00 p.m., and will then be displayed at the One Galle Face Mall from 03:00 p.m. – 08:00 p.m.

On September 15, the trophy will be displayed to the media with the participation of Dasun Shanaka, Sri Lanka’s white ball captain.

The trophy arrives in Sri Lanka after reaching 20 plus cricketing destinations, and following the completion of the Sri Lanka leg, the trophy will reach India, the host of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.
