Sri Lanka-India ferry service kicks off...

Nearly four decades after India and Sri Lanka stopped a passenger ferry service, a high-speed passenger ferry service was launched on Saturday (14 Oct.) with the arrival of ‘Cheriyapani’ in Kankesanturai, Jaffna from Nagapattinam on the eastern coast of Tamil Nadu, once again connecting the two neighbouring countries.
