SLAF training aircraft crashes…

A training aircraft of the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) crashed at Minuwangete, Wariyapola this morning (21). The aircraft, identified as a K-8 jet manufactured in China, was reportedly on a training mission when it suddenly went out of radar contact and crashed shortly after.

However, both pilots had managed to safely eject and descended by parachute, while the jet had burst into flames upon crashing.
